OSA PENINSULA
Journey into the reserve’s most remote stretch of secondary and primary rainforests during this 3.5-hour nature hike. The Osa Trail experience is designed to be less of a physical challenge and more about appreciating the majestic surroundings. The excursion begins at 8:45 am at the Guide Hut, where a naturalist guide will give a short activity briefing, followed by a quick drive to the trailhead. The Osa Trail winds mostly downhill through a majestic environment of towering trees, boulders, and 500-year-old vines, home to a splendid variety of wildlife and tropical bird species. Upon reaching the reserve’s lower elevations, participants will be picked up for the short drive back to the Lodge. A genuinely eye-opening experience for nature lovers that doesn’t involve strenuous uphill hiking.
